why are they so rude to people who want lighter skin, tanning isnt healthy for your skin either its more harmful, if people have a choice of getting a tan , then people should have a chance to get more fair without people being so judgemental, it's not good to fry yourself in the sun either, which has very dangerous affects

Actually I don't believe it is the people who are getting a tan.

I have tanned, inside and outside for many, many years and
I do not believe I am rude. I care, and genuinely go out of my
way for others. And do treat them the way I like to be treated.
With respect and kindness.

Perhaps it is just that certain amount of people that you are
judging, it could be just a similar amount as the people with
no tans.

good luck

I always wondered why people find pale/light skin people gross if they don't have a tan or they'll say 'she needs a tan'. What is that about?? You can't change the color you were born with. Yes you can tan but that's temporarily. To me people that tan religiously have a low self esteem because they don't embrace their true color. Also there's nothing wrong with an occasional tan from the beach, but going to tanning salons is too much. I think the tanorexics will find out the price of damaging their skin when they are 40. Best of luck to them.
