Absolutely, it bothers me. It's not surprising either... one side wins an election, due to fraud and disenfranchisement, and then of course, everyone wants the election system to go through some reforms. But who's in charge of doing it? The people who won the election through fraud and disenfranchisement.
The "butterfly ballot"? Brilliant. Making the second candidate listed correspond to the third hole to be punched. I could never have come up with it.
As for the machines, yes, they're made by Diebold, which is run by a known Neocon Republican, and which is a campaign contributor to Republican candidates. Of course it can't be trusted... campaign contributions are an investment, and they are always accompanied by advertising campaigns to promote their legislation proposals, issues, distractions, and their preferred candidates... why wouldn't voting fraud be included in the deal, if available?
One of the designers of the voting machines claimed to have defrauded the election... openly confessed to it, but of course was not prosecuted and received little press.
Do I believe it? I don't know. But I do know that electronic voting machines are more expensive, and poor districts can't afford them, and have higher population density, and this created the 8-12-hour lines to vote in the 2004 election, especially in Ohio. That is enough to swing an election.

No-human beings do not care.I printed this question, and the persons who replied concept i became loopy for questioning the type of element.I used an editorial from a democrat apparently. Why that concerns, i do not understand.i wager dems are not meant to care if the election is rigged.human beings do not seem worried that we are being lied to, right now and with disinformation. Its very unhappy and disheartening that the american public cares so little about this that they'd be serious of someone purely attempting to get the documents out.

Hey, your side was the one clamoring for electronic voting after a bunch of idiots in Florida "couldn't understand" the paper ballot that was written by a Democrat.
You made the bed, now lie in it.

Good question. I used to wonder why we still use pen and paper here. After the fiasco in Florida, I'm so glad we're old school!!

I am very concerned.
I have been wondering lately what happened to the legislation that said if you use electronic voting machines, you are suppose to get a paper printout of your votes.
I can't seem to find squat on what happened to that legislation and no politicians seem to care.

I'm just worried about if the democrats know how to operate the things, maybe they can give them a scratch off card or something.

Depends on who's dong the rigging. Last time it was Democrats complaining about "hanging chad", produced by Democrats, while they tried to void lawful absentee ballots sent from overseas by our fighting men and women. In the big cities, it was Democrat corpses and pets that voted.
