Selling insurance part time is a great way to make an extra income. The courses for your liscence generally cost about $300, but the return is well worth it. Insurance companies are always hiring. You don't need a college education to work for them. It isn't even required that you have a high school education. I'm not implying anything. Don't take that the wrong way. Some people just don't have one and for them or anyone else this is an option. It's not hard to get hired, the companies often supply pre approved leads, and you can do this part time from home if you have the time to meet with people on the weekends for contract signing purposes. I've been doing this on top of my full time job now for about 3 yrs. On the insurance side alone, working about 6 to 7 hours a week, I can make about $1500 extra a month
