I am 41 and I smoke pot for 29 years,I stopped. When you do you'll be glad you did. I've dreamed every nite since I quit but I don't care. I have more energy,I've lost some weight. And I seem to get more done. The way to stop is just quit.

The American Medical Association has proven that it's all mental, there is no physical addiction. See a drug counselor if you need to. I've smoked much longer than that and quit cold turkey for about 6 years without missing it. Then one day I said the hell with it and started back up.

first go to your doctor... if you've been smoking every day for 10 years you'll have emotional withdrawls... but that will only last about a week. see if you can get 5 - 10 xanax so when you stop you can replace the calming effects for the duration of your withdrawls... the good thing is that marijuana is not physically addictive... so if you can go cold turkey it will only take 3 days for your mind to clear (you'll be alert and have energy again).

Good luck

My buddy had the same problem. He got caught and got a suspended sentense and a probation period. He was so terrified of going to jail that he quit. When his probation period ended, he just didn't feel the need anymore.
Find yourself a buddy with the same problem and support each other through it. The need for pot is purely psychological. It's all in your head. Try exercise. It works for me.
