See, The first best answer is definetely the best as u told the first best answer. So if it is the best answer, and the best is a superlative degree, meaning better than all, so it is above all.
So It clearly means the best answer is the one only & remains to be the first only, no second choice, else they both won't be best answer, but only better than all the rest. Best can be the better one of those two, and again only one.

i may not be the first to answer but i still have an answer in that question. and my answer is:
my opinion is that the best answer should be taken from the best question. so in this scenario no one would be chosen for the best answer since the question is not the best question....
just kidding... it's just that the question has no point.. it seemed useless...

Mine is third, but how answers are viewed is really related to how well they are taken.
I find that most people vote for a beast answer within the first ten they read.
