My son has really dry skin and he is ten so he does not want to smell like a girl. Please help. He is going to through pain and suffering. when he sweats it burns his face . All his doctor said was to apply lotion but what kind he did not say. Any ideas welcome.

Makes wonderful products for skin and kids.
That's hypo-allergenic.
Skin sensitive - so there's no fragrance.
Rich in moisture - choose the one with oatmeal in it.
Easy on the pockets.
I would endorse Aveeno
OR you can have him try...
ALOE VERA shower gel, as soon as he comes out the shower and skin is still wet, he can rub in, and then towel off.
Skin is immediately moisten, and soft.
Lasts through the day or night.
Both products are easy on the pockets, and worth a shot!

What you need to find is a lotion that does NOT contain alcohol of any type. Lotions that contain alcohol can actually dry skin out even more . Alcohol appears in the ingredients in many ways.
Usually Coco butter or shea butter lotions don't have alcohol. (these smell somewhat chocolaty - but not girly- my husband uses them).
Try Palmers Coco butter lotion.

You can try this...Wash face thoroughly, while face is still wet, rub in petroleum jelly, a small amount. Continue wetting the face until the jelly is spread evenly and does not appear to be greasy. It won't stay greasy if you keep adding the water a little bit at a time.

Semi pricey AVEDA works nice. less pricey I go with nutragena.
