Should you confront them? Or should you wait a while to see how often the number is called and then make your big "attack"?

Hello? Why are you snooping around your spouse's phone anyway? Probably because you already have a reason to suspect him. Your gut feeling may be right, but I would give him the benefit of the doubt until there was more proof.

I guess it would depend on ur relationship with him, if he's never cheated that u know of, and shows no signs of it, I would just ask and trust in him, but if uv had a rough past with him where hes done hurtful things, I would call the number back and ask questions. Remember the most important thing to have a healthy loving relationship isTRUST. If u don't have that u don't have nothing. Cuz u can't be happy with someone u can't trust, it's not healthy for u or him. Why spend why want to spend ur life with someone ur always accusing or wonderding about, or why be with someone who always accusing u. When u can be with someone u never have to wonder about, and trusts in u to.. Also alot of men or women are automatically untrusting, jealous and insecure for no reason at all, I would definatley stay away from them, cuz its not love they feel for u, its all about control. They need help. When ur in a relationship it doesn't mean u own the other person, and have control over where they go, who theyre friends with, it's all about comprimise.

I would call the number on the phone from a payphone and try to find out who it was or I would put the number in at Telephone Directory - Switchboard Internet and see a name appeared. I would also wait and see how often the number was called.

Ask them who it is, assuming you didn't discover this number by 'snooping'. Depending on your spouses answer, let it go.

NOW, should you find out he lied to you and told you it was something platonic, and you find out when the bill rolls around that he's called this hooker 20 times in a week.. well.. ;) There you go.

I find lots of numbers in my guys cell phone....because it's a phone. It might just be work related or a number he had to hold onto for some reason. Just casually ask him who it belongs to before you jump to conclusions.

i would keep an eye and see how often this number shows up and when. And then i would ask him and if you didnt trust him why not call the number and find out who she is.Could be an affair and she dosent know you exist or it could be something that you dont think maybe its a friend or co worker or business person.

Looks like you are looking for trouble where there isn't any. I have approximately 100 people in my cell phone and I probably couldn't tell you who half of them are. Its just plain stupid to think that your partner is going to have you and only you in his phone. I am sure they have co-workers,friends, and family of the other sex stored in there. You clearly don't trust your partner and are looking for drama/trouble. If I were you I would dump him/her before they find out how immature you are and dump you first.
