Will be traveling to Melbourne to watch Australian Open. What are musts to bring so I can enjoy the Open in spite of weather and someone mentioned a problem with flies? Is that true? What can I do to keep them from bothering me?

Bring a loud AIR HORN in case you need to get someones attention it is very im-polite to whisper at any tennis event

I'm from Melbourne myself. The weather IS unpredictable and if the flies do bother you, buy a spray called "Aeroguard" it's a spray you spray upon yourself. It can be bought from chemists and possibly supermarkets.
Also, bring an autograph book. (For in case you meet the players, not to swat them with.)

It will probably be really hot by then, wear comfortable shoes, bring sunscreen and an autograph book and pen. Dont forget a camera!!!!

You will need a hat and sunscreen (you can get one with insect repellent in it) and a large bottle of water.
