What are the biggest fashion trends for women this Fall Season?

Fashion Forward:This season is about bold accessories and the chic mode look. Leggings, bangels, waist trimming belts knickers, short coats, big chains and earings,over size shirts w/ skinny jeans. The time inspiration is the 80's with a modern flare. Fashion Colors for fall 06. red, deep purple, gold or rust yellow, black is back, stark white. Make-up. Natural look with bold eyes, or lips for example natural foundation and red lip stick with 2 shade eyes. Hair is some what simple buns, pony tails or spiral curls.
Unfortunately my fashion sidekick announced every girl must have a fitted velvet blazer this year!! Yuck, But the things we do for fashion.
I'm not just a FAD!!!

As a fashion merchandising major at Howard University in DC, it's my job to know which trends are in, here's what I concluded: monochromatic shades (like black and gray) are in as the base for any outfit this fall and winter.Next, layer! But not too much, the key is to look pulled together. Wear an over-sized gray cotton tank over a fitted long sleeve black top, just make sure to kept your bottoms a bit on the tailored side...too much loose and your lost in your own ensemble! Next, add standout accessories...a la the Louis Vuitton metallic silver Speedy (but not with the gray...too much) or any little (emphasis on little) thing that you might like. The key is to look sleek and pulled together, so I would invest in: tailored pants, tailored Bermuda shorts (but only in winter colors, they look great with black knit tights), fitted sweaters, classic blazers, and a sexy but not trashy little black dress (preferably one that highlights your best attributes, whatever they are). Top it off with an oversize...not overpowering bag and sleek black pumps...or if your bold, go for the glamorous fire engine red that I'm going to buy...or if your fierce, try sleek Leapord print pumps, trust me they are great...hope that helped!

The fashion of fall is really like then end short season but the care should be because its the health sensitive season.

I usually just go with the flow every fall. Leggings. Boots. Knee high socks. Sweaters. Hoodies. A cute watch. Beanies. Scarves (for sure).
