I've been reading some of the questions on the Pregnancy page, and it's ridiculious! Some lady is having symptoms of a miscarriage and she is asking US what to do. Another lady said her baby has a fever of 105 and won't stop crying. WTF!!! What goes on in a womans head that they think, "Oh! I'm only a week pregnant and huge blood clots are coming out of me, let me go to Yahoo Answers". I think there should be a disclamier or something tell people to call their Doctor for emergency sitiuations FIRST.

Exactly. Like a bunch of us sitting on the internet at 2:45 pm know what's wrong when someone's kid is sick or when they have blood clots coming out of them.

A lot of people don't know what is an emergency situation. A lot of women get pregnant for the first time and think they'll seem whiny if they ask too many questions. And as they say, babies don't come with instruction manuals. It's true that common sense should be put into practice for most of the questions, but at least they are trying to find out what's going on. Better to ask a question on Yahoo Answers than to ignore the situation completely.

Oh, the worst I saw was someone said they adopted a baby who was 7 days old and was feeding it regular food because they didn't want the baby dependent on mothers milk and wanted to know if they should introduce meat. HELLOOOOO - my first thought was who the hell gives that kind of idiot a child??? My answer was to knock it off, babies that young drink only formula...ONLY and that what they were doing was abusive neglect.

I would assume they know this already...but assuming always bites me! Anyway, at least they are reaching out vs doing nothing, obviously not calling their MD or calling 911. Maybe they will listen to some good advise.
