You can get away with reg. gas but it's better to run premium.

I would use 91 octane(premium) grade fuel. It will perform the best, and c'mon, it's only 4 gallons of gas! But use the good stuff. If you are in a pinch, you can use lower grade fuels but be aware of any pinging(detonation).
