Some have become so open minded that their brains have fallen out I think. really though, when you have no foundation for truth or morality then you have no morality.
I know why I believe what I do and I make the choices I do because I know the one who said they are right and wrong and I trust that His plans for me are good so in order to follow the path that leads to my good, I need to obey. For those that don't believe in God, pretty much anything goes- who says what is right and wrong? whatever makes them feel good to the point that they refuse to see how it affects others and how harmful it is to themselves. you cannot convince them it is immoral if they have no authority to answer to. If you believe hat you become nothing more than worm food in the end, then really nothing you do matters- if there is no one to be accountable to, no one to make the rules, then there is no moral judgment, no standards to uphold, no foundation for why this is right and that is wrong. As people continue to deny God and His authority , it will only get worse.
For example, what is the first thing a kid says when another kids says you cannot do that? "Says who??" well if I told someone that you cannot do this because God says, and there is no belief in God, then "says who?" what leg do oyu have to stand on to judge morality- there is none- when you deny the authority of god you no longer have a foundation for morality- you are your own God and you get to make your own rules- in the end, people will STILL be accountable to God whether they like it, believe it or not, and there will still be consequences to their actions- they just dont see it now

What are morals?

Human conscience is widely acknowledged to encourage individuals to do right; its origins and role are the subject of much discussion. Belief in an effective system of divine judgment often helps with personal motivation, as classically seen in the success of Medieval codes of knighthood and the spread of Islam. The desire to conform to the behavior of a group to which an individual belongs or aspires to belong is also a powerful force, though it may generally apply to more general cultural norms and customs, where the dichotomy is between proper and improper behavior.

As the times change so do the morals of the group. I'm not less moral than normal, just more up with the times.

There is a saying that goes, " a society will only have the amount of crime it will tolerate" We are numb we see it all the time getting worse. But it is always "when will we say enough is enough" I act, I will not let stupid go unpunished. I will not tolerate ignorance. I will not let kids act as if it doesn't matter. Do not ask when...Say this is the day.

i went and tried each and every thing and now i be responsive to this is incorrect and that i don't do it using fact this is undesirable for me and my happiness. yet now i don't choose others for the state they're in. I understand that we are all and sundry and christian, buddhist, notwithstanding is entirely a label you stick on your guy or woman brow, consistent with danger for social motives, kinfolk etc. yet interior the tip would not make you any nearer to God than you would be with out it. I additionally found out that to evangelise to human beings is mindless. human beings react to love no remember what the words are. this is purely by way of cultivating the affection and nicely being of your self and letting it overflow to others that we make some distinction interior the worldwide. each and all of the sermonizing approximately morality, accepting Jesus etc. is synthetic. what's mandatory in this worldwide is real openness and help of one yet another. yet notwithstanding while you're taking that as an thought it turns into stupid using fact human beings start up thinking you're able to desire to settle for murderers and toddler molesters. What i'm attempting to assert is that the project grew to become into that faith is in everybodies heads. this is this summary element that governs us, however the worldwide isn't bounded via those concepts. they don't greater wholesome. the worldwide is only too complicated and surprising to greater wholesome right into a e book. we could desire to be masters of ourselves and end hiding from life. Sacred texts are there to help us, not rule us. Oh yeah sorry, i could not likely be answering this using fact i'm not an atheist. purely a 'former christian'.

I don't understand it either. If you have a sense of right and wrong today, you are closed minded and and hate filled. Open mindness is another word for anything goes no matter how wrong it is. I have often complained about people using profanity on the bus, even when there are young children around, and people think I am being trivial and should focus on more important issues.

You can be open minded and still have morals. Society has been corrupt forever and will continue to be corrupt until the end.
