bad valve stem seals, worn piston rings.
If a valve cover gasket is leaking AND a spark plug is loose, oil can seep onto the plug, but usually if a plug is THAT loose you would be able to hear a loud noise from it as the compression would leak out beside teh loos plug.
The worn valve seals would be the cheapest to repair.
but it's a 50-50 shot.

The leak into the spark plug nicely is led to with the help of the "tube" seals. those at the instant are not constantly secure interior the valve conceal gasket set. This job isn't the least confusing to do through fact the EGR pipe must be moved. On mine the bolts broke whilst i attempted to take it aside. yet once you may get previous that element, from there on it rather is very basic. you'll want a valve conceal set, tube seals and a tube of RTV. If the leak is on the main appropriate area of the engine (passenger area) the EGR is not any difficulty. The gasket for the valve conceal could be ok, yet you'll want new tube seals. i do in comparison to doing a job two times, so I in simple terms get a clean set of valve conceal gaskets and replace them without notice. might to boot do all 4 on the comparable area at as quickly as. I even have considered mechanics attempt to apply RTV to seal this section rather of fixing the tube seals. It has not worked on those that I even have worked on.

Is the engine putting out blueish/gray smoke? If it only blows smoke in the morning when the engine is cold. Then most likely its from valve guides, or seals. If it smokes all the time it is most likely the piston rings.

Its usually worn rings or the whole motor worn and the only way to fix is to rebuild the engine.
