They have special paper that you can buy at an office supply store like Staples or Office Depot or something. They come with a program that you can put designs onto sticker-like things shaped like the CD. Really helpful. I have some by Memorex. They are called CD&DVD Labelmaker Label. Make sure the labelmaker software is included. I got mine for $10

You can do it a number of different ways.

1. You can use standard labels that you can buy at any store that will work directly in an inkjet or laser printer.

2. You can buy a special printer that will print directly onto special ink jet printable CDs/DVDs.

3. You can use a special drive called LightScribe, which is made by HP, that actually bur the data onto one side of your disc while burning an image on the top side. However, this is only black and white.

Use an easy CD design software, that has a tutorial video, that will take you through step by step

You can get it Kmart, Target and Walmart for cheap.
