For it, i think that a person has the right to choose whether he/she should die with dignity and how much pain they want to be in.. We have the right to a living will and do not resusitate orders..

I am most definitely for it, standing at the side of my moms bed when she was dying of breast cancer 7 years ago made my mind up for me, it is the worst thing in the world watching someone you love so much suffering in constant pain, if I were to have cancer myself with no hope of a cure then I would take my own life if I had to and no one would or ever have the right to stop me.

It should be a personal choice. In terminal case with no hope of recovery, and in last stages of his/her life, if someone chooses to end his/her own suffering, he/she should be able to direct the doctors (either directly or by will), it should be honored.
On the other hand, without this personal directive, no one else should be allowed to terminate him/her.

for it because if i had a terminal illness/disease i would not want to be a burden upon my family and friends nor cost the NHS more money i mean lets face it my illness/disease is going to kill me I'd rather it was sooner rather than later. the money the NHS would have to fork out in order for me to remain alive would be better spent on other things such as a cure for cancer or other incurable diseases.

I'm against senseless suffering, but for the preservation of life.
Let goodness and mercy prevail.

AGAINST and blatant suicide.
however i do have loved ones, and i do realise when we watch our loved ones suffer it is a very tricky arguement.
i believe in the Creator and would pray, for mercy but at the end of the day its in his hands.

For it. Definitely. I wouldn't want to suffer and should be allowed to take my life with some dignity.

For it of course. Can't see people suffering when there is no chance to save them.
