it will be the end of their relationship.. my hubby wanted me to have an abortion but i couldnt do it.. we're separated now.. it ruined our relationship for me... but we have a beautiful daughter

Don't watch Eastenders.
But I am not anti-abortion and if it raises awareness of the plight that many young girls find themselves in thats a good thing.
I'm 26 weeks pregnant now and it is NOT easy!!! I would hate to think of a very young girl being forced to go through all this tiredness and sickness and feeling like cr@p, then the agony of labour, all to have a baby she does not want or feel she is able to cope with.
People go on about adoption but how the hell can you go through all that and then just give the baby away never to see it again, like a discarded piece of clothing? I think it would kill me! I'm sure that would harm you more psychologically than having an abortion.
As long as abortion is performed as early as possible and in clean, safe medical environment then I see no reason for a young girl to go through with a pregnancy she doesn't feel she can cope with. After all, make it illegal and you just drive it into the back streets where girls and women will die at the hands of dodgy back street abortionists. That used to happen in this country all the time. And it will happen again if access to legal, safe abortion is removed.
Women have been having abortions for thousands of years and making it illegal will not stop it, just make it more dangerous.

no i think an abortion is a seriously bad thing 2 do. I think she didnt have the abortion because soaps always play a trick. However when she goes 2 honeys baby shower she'll know what shes done and she'll proberly give a mouthfull 2 bradley. Staceys really going to regret it. It depends on whether you think abortion is murder. I don't there is no compelling reason other than a religious one to think that a fetus (especially one before the 3rd trimester) has the same moral status as a full human being. Personally, I think the real crime is bringing a child into this world without the full and total support of both people involved. But enough of my rant.
To answer the question: it was Stacy's decision to get the abortion or not and she must live with the consequences of that, whatever they are. It really isn't a should.

Nothing from EastEnders happens in real life. If your going to ask questions about soaps, ask about good ones like Coronation Street or Emmerdale.

I think it was Bradley who wanted it really - I think Stacey was a bit hasty and will probably regret it.
I suspect this will spell the end for their relationship.

how tearful was that episode tonight,i was shouting at the tele,dont do it,stacey,she did it for bradley,but personally i dont think their relationship will last,she'll always blame him for aborting their child.but i've got to say what brilliant acting it was,especially from lacey(who plays stacey)

I think this will destroy her as i got all the way to the abortion clinic and couldnt go through with it and im glad i couldnt as now my kids are my world

o i think she should have done what she wanted not him i would never get an abortion if somebody told me to i think if your responsible to make it then you should stand up and raise that child they havent done anything wrong sorry i think ive gone abit off track there. i do feel for stacey.

Bradley has so lost it. He should respect Stacey its horrible to watch. abortion is murder. and i would think that Stacey would want to follow in the footsteps of little mo and keep it. Lil mo kept hers and it was a child of rape! its like, bradley should know, u know. buys can be so.............urgh. u know.
