Yes you are right! When they get cold, excitement, touching another person that you care about. It is only natural!
Many guys think it is because they turned you on but that is bunk!

It is a combination of friction and that they get cold when you are sweating.
Even worse is that some people on long runs actually bleed from the nipple because the friction is so intense.
