In simple words, an ethical dilemma is a situation where there is an ethical problem, and that all possible solutions seem to be equally right or wrong at the same time.
This indicate that there must be some separate objective guide or answer, and this guide is thru GOD who is the Creator of ethics and He and only He Has the right to guide and tell us what we should do.

An ethical dilemma is a moral choice you have to make. But the choice is not black and white. It is a complex choice and right and wrong are not clearly devided. The best way to solve the dilemma is to explore the consequences of each choice and determine what option will benifit you and others most, depending on what you think is important.

A question was asked here before in which a woman asked if she should contact a guy she met at a conference for work. She had all his contact information and was wondering, since she couldn't stop thinking about him, if she should email him even though he was married. The dilemma is she got the info from work and the guy is married. The ethical part is when she crosses the line to send that email to try to hook up with him when that info was found through work.
Hope this helps & have a great day!!!

An Ethical dillema is a problem that becomes even more complicated when the options call into question your ethics and morality on the matter. --There is no way of "solving it" besides making your decision and following through with it. Thus there's no right answer, you just live with the concequences of your decision.
For example, Should you kill someone who is absolutely determined to try and kill you in means of self defense is a moral/ethical dillema if you think the act of harming others is wrong.

An ethical (or moral) dilemma is a situation in which you usually have only two choices, both of which are distasteful, distressing, painful and/or have unpleasant consequences.
For an example, please click on the link below.
How does one solve an ethical dilemma?
Generally speaking, one has to decide, based on one's value system, one's morals/ethics, which course is likely going to be the less harmful/unpleasant, etc.

As people are saying: you have a dilemma when you don't know what to do since there are conflicting arguments about the best move for you. Sometimes, you just have to listen to your conscience.
Or perhaps you really don't have a problem because it is not your responsibility.
I can't stop living in my town even if there is a drug war going on there. It is my responsibility to protect my family but it is the job of the police to deal with the whole situation.
Sometimes we have no choice.

An ethical dilemma is when you can do something one of two ways. The way you should do it or the way you want do it. Is doing it your way kind of one-sided? A little unfair?
The solution is, "do the right thing".

When you have to choose between two seemingly reasonable and upright decision but runs in conflict with one another. But when I say 'reasonable and upright,' this corresponds to your cultural, religious, social or political affiliation which may not be widely shared by and among the human race.
The resolution may result in another conflict or dilemma. No win-win situation arises so it is just a matter sticking up to the final decision.
