I need to know the sq footage of my property which is in the shape of a trapezoid. What is the formula for a trapezoid?

sum of its bases times the height of the trapezoid, and then divide the result by 2.

Umm, there's not one. You have to break it up into two identical triangles and one rectangle. Figure them out individually, then add the sums up.
