What you could do, is serve chips and dip, or a veggie tray already cut and prepared from the grocery store, with dip. Also, a fruit tray is always great. This way, the parents can eat at their leisure, and you don't have to worry about making anything. For drinks, you could go buy two liters of soda, and a bag of ice, and some bottled water. Maybe make up a pitcher of juice. I hope you have a great time tomorrow!

To a extensive quantity you could persist with your toddler's lead in this. toddlers do not probably *want* solids for nutritional/energy motives until extraordinarily on the brink of a 365 days, so if he's pleased with solids two times an afternoon (or on a similar time as quickly as an afternoon or in no way) it rather is wonderful. yet whilst he's very hungry and loves his solids, you *might desire to* furnish solids three times an afternoon. in case you gain this, in simple terms be certain that he's not lowering on his formula. Meats? particular, why not. Meats are meals like numerous different. and that they seem to be a stable source of iron and protein and fat (all issues considerable for infants), so if he likes meat, there is not any reason you won't be able to furnish them. (some components recommned giving meat, extremely than grains or end result/greens, as toddler's first sturdy nutrition.) EDIT: Whizzy's placed up highlights the terrible and previous suggestion mechanically surpassed out with the help of HVs interior the U.ok. 3 nutrients and a pair of snacks with the help of 6 months? on condition that the standard suggestion (interior the U.ok. too) is to not even start up solids untl 6 months, how can toddler in all risk flow as much as 5 solids feeds an afternoon in decrease than a week? and 600 ml of formula (approximately 20 oz.) is exremely low. If toddler is gaining poorly (and s single low weight verify isn't reason for situation) then offering extra formula or breastmilk is a much extra suited determination than pushing extra solids.

How about Ritz crackers with cheese and cold cuts? You can use a cookie cutter to cut out cute shapes. It's easy to pick up and eat, it's at room temperature. And if you drop them on the floor, it's easy clean up. You can even try different types or flavors of crackers (assortments are sold in the supermarket) or different types of spreads - maybe you can even find crackers that is safe for babies to chew on.

I assume you mean for moms who have infants in arms? My perennial favorite -- hummos (garbanzo bean dip) with cut-up veggies. Also good: apple slices with peanut butter to dip them in. Cheese and crackers with the cheese already stacked on the crackers (if you have time or lots of cheese slices and a bowl of crackers like whole wheat triscuits. In fact if you want to do a little more, do all three and if you really want meat you can add lunch meat slices fanned out on a plate next to the cheese.
HAVE FUN!

Mini sandwiches are always good. Also you could go to walmart (or your local grocery store) and get a veggie platter and that way you don't have to really prepare anything except drinks. For drinks, bottled water is always good or you could make a pitcher of tea. Anyway, those are just a few ideas..hope they helped :)

Get a deli tray of meats and cheeses and let them make sandwiches.
Or get a couple of different flavors of bagels and some cream cheese.
Put out carrots and celery with some dip and maybe a few fresh fruits.
Make a pitcher of lemonade or by some juice or bottled water.

Fruit bowls, you can cut the fruit or buy it in cups in the produce section.
Buy coffee cakes or danishs for the moms. Juice if breastfeeding, and tea or coffee available for those who don't.
Unless you want to get some baby food, and each mom can pick the one they want for their kid. Ready made formula.
(It has been so long I forget what 6 months olds eat. lol ) mixed cereal in bowls. Teething cookies and crackers. Juice for kids.
Have fun.

If you want to serve the moms, I suggest muffins or bagels. As for drinks, I suggest juice, like orange juice or plain water.
If you want to serve the babies, how about some cheese, like Cheddar or Swiss, cut into tiny cubes.

Go get a fruit tray. especially if any of you are breastfeeding- fruits and veggies are super important in your diet. Brunch is usually fruits and finger sandwiches anyway- so that's easy, affordable, and good for you :)
Cheese and crackers are good too for entertaining. Good luck- mommy meetup groups are FANTASTIC!
