Just been watching a demo trying to close down one of the last coal fired power stations, (the largest in Europe)! If this was closed UK would need 4 Nuclear plants to replace it (tree huggers dont want any of those)!
They also dont want wind generators, but they may accept 4 million panels to fit on your roof, (if the goverment and the rest of us pay for them)!
I think all 'enviromentalists' should have their cars removed from them, have all their electric switched off, in fact be allowed nothing at all that could 'contaminate' our enviroment.
Should we collect their names and switch them all off??

I see the 'huggers' have let go of the trees for a while to reply! "We dont object to wind generators" I can prove you certainly do!!

And above all I certainly belive that all your theories on this so called 'impending enviromental disaster' are a complete load of tosh! Ozone layer?

What actual facts have you to prove it all,?? but above all who cares??
I will not weep for the loss of the lesser speckled willow wabler, I do not miss at all the demise of the dodo bird or the greater speckled ormagaloo kitten!
But I would miss my hot shower in the morning and I would miss my TV etc, I would not also miss a bunch of tree huggers!!

Why don't we switch you off instead? Coal fired power stations are one of the biggest contributors to global pollution. We may already have screwed it up so bad that the polar ice will melt no matter what we do now. What cracker friends taught you the term "tree hugger." Like it's a bad thing? You can thank the last 3 generations for potentially destroying the planet. Nice going.

HEY! And if all of us so-called "tree huggers" didn't exist at all in history, how many people would actually be living today to ***** about us "enviro-wacko's"? And you're like everyone else who complains about those of us who are trying like hell to save SOMETHING for those who hopefully come behind us.....since I'm in CO and all these ranchers on the western slope sounded exactly like YOU until this current administration decided to not only mine for natural gas in our national parks, historical monument areas, but also on all of the same ranchers who complained about US all their lives until suddenly they heard the word "eminent domain"!!! Now they're the ones screaming with the loudest voices because Bush declared eminent domain on THEIR property & is also mining all this natural gas on THEIR land! And in most cases, the ranchers can't even use their land for ranching any longer! So suddenly they've become one of "US"! Gasp! So I know you and exactly what you're like....you'll *****, moan & complain about those of us who are trying to have less pollution to breathe, stop the extreme warming caused from burning all these fossil fuel's, and if it weren't for those before me, we'd stil have LEAD in our gasoline and paint, asbestos and everything else that we now know actually kills you!! So you're actually stating that every single one of us who are trying to save the environment are bad, are doing horrible things now and have always done dreadful things? That removing lead from gas & paint wasn't a GOOD thing to do?
BTW, I'm curious about whatever happened to the hydro-electric generation and to be quite honest with you, I would MUCH rather have NUCLEAR power plants than coal!!! Or as Bush says it: nuculer.....!!!
We honestly are NOT wacko's and I have no idea where you get the idea that environmentalist's do NOT want WIND GENERATORS. We're all for them!!!
Instead of bitching about everything that environmentalists do and will do and have always done, maybe you should thank them instead for all of the truly good things that they have done so that you're still alive to complain!

We should switch off everyone. Live like we were intended to, without all the polluting crap. Could you survive? Or is being "comfortable" all you know? Well when we destroy and deplete all of our natural resources none of us will be comfortable anymore.

since when do environmentalists not want wind power?
i just don't want ppl killing animals for pleasure (if they plan to eat it then fine by me) and i don't want ecosystems like the rainforest being chopped and burned and such
