Is there any tricks? I have shoes that are not cheap, but the rub the back of my ankles after hours of wear, does anyone know of any remedies or tricks to prevent this or lesson the irritation.

You can apply a bandaid to the back of your ankle. Some times my sneakers tend to do that also.

I believe you may be buying the wrong size shoe. You may want to get you feet sized to get the proper fit. If that doesn't work, you can always try good old fashioned bandaides on the back of your ankles!

There are no tricks just stop buying cheap shoes trust me cocoa butter will only do so much. The other bloggers will tell you buy dr.scholl pads for the back of the foot.

Use heel pads, you stick them on the back of your shoes and they act as a cushion. I've also used this stuff from Band-Aid...it looks like a mini deodorant, but it's supposed to prevent blisters from forming. I've used it and it works not too bad.

They sell this stuff called "Mole Skin" that you can cut to the size you need and put on the back of your shoe. It has a self adhesive on one side and really soft on the other. It's a life saver!
