BDSM is a general term, standing for bondage, domination, sadism, and masochism. (Some will argue that the D and S can also stand for domination and submission, or the D can stand for discipline. Choose your own preferred combo.)
So you have bondage and physical impact play going on here.
Yep, I think it qualifies.
BDSM does NOT have to involve pain. It can be strictly mindgames---many people enjoy the control elements.
BDSM does NOT have to involve sexual contact, although a lot of people do get some level of erotic charge out of it. There's a number of people who are turned on by "serving"---by being a devoted and careful helper.
Responsible BDSM involves good communication, and "safe, sane, and consensual" is the mantra in the Kink community.

Certainly. You immediately qualify just by tying someone up. The pillow spanking is mild but can be considered a part of BDSM as well.
If you are worried, there's nothing wrong with that (assuming consent of all parties involved). BDSM seems to have a stigma that it doesn't deserve as its usually the really hard stuff (like leather, whips and chains, Master/slave, etc.) that BDSM conjures up in many vanilla people. The truth is that there is all sorts of flavours of BDSM, and this is among the mildest types. It certainly is becoming a part of the mainstream.
