Not yet, but he is an unhappy camper. His numbers have slipped a bit as a result. He will play out his contract and then quietly move on. He would make a great fit for most National League teams. (Seattle used to play that style of game and sometimes still does.)
He has had meetings with Mike Hargrove and top managment about the team's problems, but it is not in the Japanese style for him to assert leadership, this being Hargrove's job as he sees it.
Ichiro appreciates that he is well loved in Seattle and is not the mercenary type like Alex Rodriguez or to a lesser extent Ken Griffey, Jr. He is therefore loyal to Seattle fans, but that loyalty only goes so far, otherwise he would still be in Japan with the Blue Wave.

He should. The magical season for the Mariners a few years ago is but a distant memory, as well as his personal awards from that season. I would demand a trade if I were him so my talent could be used on a team with a chance at a title.
