About my boyfriend and I splitting and instead taking some time to think. Well he got back from his trip, and we've decided to go our seperate ways anyway.Even though I think that this really is for the best, I want to punch him.(LOL) Is that normal?

in case anyone worries about it, I'm not going to, I just want to.

Yes Molly, it's completely normal. The reason for it is this, no that you've split you can look back on the relationship from a more objective view, seeing it for how bad it really was, instead of trying to make it work out. And now seeing that it was not going anywhere, you've gotten mad at yourself for not seeing it sooner, and want to take out the frustration on the one that caused it all. Namely your ex.

Yes if the relationship did end in a nice way it's very normal to be hurt and angry. I remember when the first guy I dated broke up with me I wanted to beat the crap out of his precious truck. It'll get better, just give it some time, sorry things didn't work out

well i know what you mean by that type of relationship you want to stay with him because you want to have someone but dont let your emotions get in the way of whats best for you if you know this is right then follow it and you dont feel that this is whats best..... really.... than talk to him about it and ya'll still can be friends and if not he wasnt worth your time anyway.

Sure it is. We all have urges, and think of things we would like to do. Just don't act on them and you will be fine. He treated you like a jerk and you are mad....hey I wanna punch him too!!!
