Try Nvidia and ATI GPUs
I've used a 256mb ATI 9550 for photoshop and indesign and it works really well.
I've also used Nvidia (can't remember model) for gaming and small graphics. Really nice.
Don't believe me, go to newegg.com and look at the reviews for Nvidia and ATI
