I moved to Florida 2 years ago. I have met many , many Bubbas here. When I lived in Wisconsin I never knew any. It is a very popular nickname in the south. I first thought it was strange, but I am use to it now.

LOTS of guys in Texas named Bubba. I think most of them though have "real" names, but they all seem content to go by Bubba.

Yes, I know 2. One's a little boy that decided that Bubba was going to be his name for now on and the other is a local man that is sooooo gross! I've never seen so many skin tags on one person!!!! YUCK

Believe it or not.... our friends named there son Bubba???? Why, I do not know and I thought it would be rude to ask.... He is an adorable little boy.

In grade/high school, I had a classmate everyone called "Bubba"...but this real name was Mike. :)
