So ive known this guy for a while, weve been talking and i know he likes me and i like him...problem is he says he cant have a girlfriend. I think hes afraid to get hurt and i know that he is super busy trying to juggle around being a full time student, father, and his job. He asked me that if i didnt want to get hurt just to walk away now, but i chose not to because i care about him too much. I wanna be with him but in a sense i know its not gonna happen anytime soon but i just cant give up on him. What should i do?

He's sidestepping things a little bit, but the bottom line is that he doesn't want a relationship with you. He's probably trying to be nice about it now so that he doesn't devestate you, but you'll probably end up being hurt really bad if you hang around trying to be his girlfriend...hell, he actually TOLD you that to your face. You sound like a sweet person, but If he said he doesn't want a girlfriend, respect that he doesn't want one and leave him alone. If it was meant to be, he'll realize it after you're not around all of the time, waiting for something that he's not feeling. Good luck!

If a guy really likes you no matter how busy his life is he will make time for you. If your something good for him, a thing to good to pass by he will snag you up and not let anyone have you. Here he is telling you I have this and this and this(excuses even if true) going on in my life. If you want to wait around until I figure out how to juggle all my life then go ahead waste your time on waiting for me. Honey he is telling you to move on. He likes you but he isn't into you. He is trying to be nice about it because it seems that you two are friends and he possibilly doesn't want to ruin that. What I suggest is moving on. Who knows maybe if he see's you dating then that will make him think "oh crap, i really do like her I need to tell her so she doesn't start something serious with this other guy". Just don't waste your life waiting around for a guy that will never come around.

Sometimes the hardest thing in the world to do is let go of someone. I have recently had to do this myself and know how difficult it can be. But I think that is exactly what you need to do now.
If he really does love you the way you need to be loved he will come back to you. He will see you as a happy person with your own life and he will want to be part of your life.
If he does not come back then most likely he is not the man that you need to be with anyway.
True love does not fade and out of sight out of mind, does not apply.
It is a very hard thing to see when you are in the midst of it all. But when you look back at it later, you will see it very clearly.

I have went threw the something! Just stick by him as his friend and tell him you will always be there for him! Prove to him that your not going anywhere at that you so really care for him! I did that ans it might of took me 8 years but now me and my guy are getting married! Believe me it will work out if your meant to be together1 Good luck!

I think that if you really love that you will stick with him even if he is not ready as yet. By showing that you support him even as your friend can bring him closer to faster than you think. WHat ever he has to do help him e.g. with his kids, cook for them sometimes take care of them so he can study etc, just do little things to show your sincerity and I believe he will come around.

These problems do not have quick-fix solutions, and often call for lots of support (for long periods of time) from friends, family and society ; unless you want to keep matters absolutely private, have confidence in your own abilities to resolve every issue, yourselves, and really prefer to do it that way.

Sorry, yet i'm gonna be honest with you, i imagine he would not like you. yet you sound like an excellent woman, so he's probably a jerk.. you want to open up and talk to different boys, and enable different boys talk to you through smiling and searching good.

just be his friend ,because if you push him into it ,it won't work and he will hurt u,as he already told you ,besides good relationships come from two people who are ready and comiited to each other .
