This movie remains one of my favorites of all times. I remember when I rented it and brought it home and my Grandmother said "If I hear the F word you are turning it off". And wouldn't you know it the first few words that Bender spoke had the F word in it. Now like any other teenager I listen to her and took it out of the vcr, but I watched it after she went to bed....hee,hee,hee!!! Does anyone else have any storys they would like to share about the movie.....favorite line, favorite scene, and who are you most like? Who would you have liked to be identified with?

Just to let you know how much I love that movie. What first attracted me to my husband was the fact he remined me of Bender, the bad a*** from the movie. My mom freaked out when I brought him home and I told her we were getting married. Seventeen years married and well, my husband has grown out of his bad a** ways, but I still love him as much as I did when I married him.

I love that movie, it's one of my top favorite films......
Brian Johnson: Dear Mr. Vernon, we accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong. But we think you're crazy to make an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us... In the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain...
Andrew Clark: ...and an athlete...
Allison Reynolds: ...and a basket case...
Claire Standish: ...a princess...
John Bender: ...and a criminal...
Brian Johnson: Does that answer your question?... Sincerely yours, the Breakfast Club.

I love The Breakfast Club. Infact anything by John Hughes gets a thumbs up from me! I grew up in the 80s and I always wanted to be Molly Ringwald! What I think is so great about the Breakfast Club is you can relate to a little bit of each character. I wanted to be the princess at school but I was the basketcase! It also has a great soundtrack. Its a classic 80s movie!

That movie was GREAT!!! I hate to admit it but that was so me to be in detention all the time. I can relate to Bender (but a female version) not that I was so much a criminal but my Father was a d*ck I hated school and felt like I was in detention more than anywhere else. I was the first to always talk back and make fun when they left the room. I think we all did that at one time or another. I watch that movie and relive youth don't worry things are not always that way we do actully grow up(sometimes) til this day I do speak my mind as you get older you just learn to do it better!

Ah the Breakfast Club, there has never been a better movie made! My favorite part is where they are sitting on the balcony and there telling there secrets and Allison (sheedy) says she had sex w/ her therapist and everyone freaks then she said she's a compulsive liar. Its just so funny the looks on there faces.
Sixteen Candles is another great movie of Molly Ringwald's she was the '80's and she kicked a$$ at it.

"Could you describe the ruckus, sir?"

One of my favorite lines. hee hee. Such a great movie -- first time I saw that was in the theater with about eight of my high school friends. At that time in my life I felt that the movie depicted all of the angst and emotion that was our lives.

I guess I connected with most of the characters in some way or another -- I think that was the point. I was a little like ally sheedy, a little bit of judd nelson.... and a touch of molly. Weird, eh?

Great music -- great cast. Oh... and god, I wanted a bad *** boyfriend like judd nelson! :)

Have you watched any of the other "brat pack" movies like 16 candles or pretty in pink. If you haven't then you should. Molly Ringwald is on both
