Obviously there are a wide variety of suitable types out there. I am not in it for the money, but I do want someone nice who can bestow on me suitable prestige.

What a gold digging tramp ! Not in it for the money.......what a joke. How about getting off your fat azz and do something for yourself instead of trying to marry into something ? I hope that whatever you find is a complete disaster !

A minister of the cloth. A doctor will be good also but could wander of when examining all those young womens body, and I am yet to meet a honest politician.

If you marry a minister, most churches will give you a free house, the wage won't be great but it'll be okay and you'll have a wide social network, the whole church. Also, you can do good things and give good advise which should make you feel content.

But I say you can't really plan and predict who you fall in love with and a loveless marriage will be a hard one. I say marry whoever you fall in love with and who loves you back, you can't ask for better than that.

Doctor: His hands will always be examining other women, and feeling them up - jealously could be a factor here.

Politician: Will lie to you all the time, and just say things to make you happy, and then not follow through on any promises..

Minister: Will eventually have sex with young choir boys and end up in jail.

Either way, these choices don't sound too good.

hmmm.

not in it for the money huh?

well a doctor makes a lot of that, usual don't know how to keep it tho. that means you'd probably get it.. so that a money place.

a politician is similar makes a lot thru the lobbies and deals with govt. don't keep much either which means you'd probably get it.
so that's a money move.

minister they get lots of donations to the church and usually the more donations the more he is paid. they always have big cars and such regardless of the poverty of the church goers, tho.
so a minister at a verry poor congregation that couldn't give him that much might fit you question..

maybe where they'd have to walk to church because they can't afford cars. that'd keep you out of it for the money, wouldn't it?

A difficult choice.

A doctor could catch nasty things from his patients and be called out at odd hours and you couldn't trust anything a politician said. Try a minister, he'd be more likely to remain faithful.

Yours sincerely,

PLEASE don't marry someone for what he does. Most likely you are going to meet someone and fall in love, no matter what his profession is. Base your marriage on how he treats you, and how he treats others, and you will be happy.
What happens if you marry someone with a lot of prestige and he is an ***hole to you or your family? Set some priorities, woman.

First of all, you need to stop looking for a title and look for a mate. Like with all mates, you should find one you are compatable with. You have to keep in mind that you are going to be with this person day in and day out and you want to make very sure that this is the right person for you. Ask yourself, "If something horrible were to happen to me, would this person take care of me." If your answer is yes, then that is the mate for you.

You cannot PLAN who you fall in love with silly! Thats the most unromantic thing I ever heard! Just for asking this snotty question, I hope you fall in love at first sight with an unemployed lounge singer and he breaks your snobby heart!!
