Considering that the Dinè have a matrilineal culture, I'm surprised we haven't had a female president yet. Women have always had an important place for the Dinè. It's obvious that the male Navajo presidents we've had in the past are only looking out for themselves, their friends and family. It's time that we try electing someone different than the type of people who have been elected in the past.
