As the news article in the link below states, Mr. Ford has passed away at 90 years old, just a few months after his 90th birthday..he was unable to attend a special event honouring him on that day. Some us here on Yahoo! were just discussing this fine gentleman only a few weeks ago...he was a great actor and always a pleasure to watch. Rest In Peace, Mr. Ford.

Yes. He was an excellent actor. Subtle and understated - he will be missed. Rest in peace, Mr. Ford.

Yes heard it on good morning America this am. He was one of the old time movie actors. Such a loss. He lived a good long life, may he rest in peace!

Yes. And, surprised that he was Welsh. He only had 1 child, a son if I'm not mistaken. That he had some strokes in the 90's and that, in real life, he was a humble man. Sad, but, he is in a better place.

I heard this morning. I know that Turner Classic Movies will air 6 movies that he starred in on September 10th. My favorite won't be aired. That's "Cimarron".

He had such an engaging smile.....low-key....a real adorable 1950s kinda guy! What joy he gave to all of us!
I had a HUGE crush on him when I was younger! :)
