I was thinking like disability or something. I just moved to California and I know that in Massachusettes I could.

Make an appt and go to the local Social Security office...You could probably get SSI or SSDI for him, and Medi-CAL and and state aid programs require that you have the federal aid in place first.

why would you need financial help for him??? He is NOT disabled!!! WHY would you want to label him as so??? He is more than capable of learning just because he must learn differently doesn't mean he is disabled. treat him like he can't learn or like he is different & he will have problems.
Besides, the ADHD is a term that is thrown around a lot by doctors because it's the "in" term. That is already a label your kid has & you want to add another one??

Yes. I've heard of people with asthma who get SSI. Get a doctor to say that he has them, and sign up. It's a federal program, so you don't have to worry about moving from state to state.
