Actually every Italian I met was...They think your suppose to worship them just cuz they good looking...Good at sports....or are from strong family ties..some even have told me they never approach the woman in the bar they wait for her ...to come to them..Keep on waiting buddy.. Its mostly just being arrogant!!!...to say all of any race bad though is wrong of course there is good and bad in every race!!!...But I would prefer to never date one again after what i've gone through....plus they eat too much!!!...you will gain 50lbs...

No they are just like people everywhere else. I love Italy and would happily live there. Italians are a collection of individuals just as every other nation is. I have met quite a few Italians, both in Italy and in the UK - I've only met one that I didn't like - he wouldn't accept that I didn't want to go out with him, and he had his fair share of arrogance and stupidity, but he wasn't all bad. On the whole I find Italians friendly and pleasant. Like every other nation though, they do like it if you make an effort at speaking their language when you visit their country, and that's only polite.

How silly...it sounds to me like you may have had a run in with a particular person of the Italian persuation that may have been superficial. Very unfortunate...

From my experience,(being partly Italian) I would say no.
On the contrary, they are fiery and passionate people,
who love much,and eat well.
