Last night i saw this theoretical broadcasting from some Scientists and Astronauts that they spotted an asteroid headed straight our way ; they would not be able to blow it up because all the millions of pieces would fly straight at us and it could be worse, so they thought of designing a machine that needed to be flown be Astronauts with some magnetic force that wil drag it away from earth, but then they spotted another one right behind it on the same path only a bit larger than earth. This one will get near earth and because of this force that surrounds earth causing earth to rotate the asteroid will do same for about seven years until it circles so close that it hits the earth causing an explosion that no one can survive. It was also said that by that time if the predictions are correct technology will allow us to know the exact day that the world would end. The scary thing besides the horrible news is that if you are Christian and read the bible a few of the things said in the prdiction have been mentioned in the bible...
Crazy things can happen people will go insane and run around trying to live it up and party, but when that End of Days gets closer most EVERY ONE will convert to Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior and seek Salvation and those WiLL most likely be denied. READ Apocalypse in the bible and about the SEVEN angels and what they will bring (seven years) and about the darkness in the last days (asteroid blocking the sun) read then get back to us and give your opinion.

Interesting question! Was that on ABC? I think I saw some of that.

I think I understand your question. I have sometimes wondered if Revelation has a "secular" explanation to it. Was someone - an ordinary mortal - seeing, and trying to explain, the future somehow? Some scientific types, even non-religious ones, believe "seeing" the future is possible. if this were the case, then of course words like "nuclear missles" and "asteroids" would not be used. the person would have to try to describe the visions in the language of the day.

An interesting theory . . .

Well, until it happens, I don't believe it. As for that book of the bible, not going to read it. And anyway, the earth's doomed anyway because of the goverment doing what they're doing, forcing animals into extinction, taking up all the resources, polluting the air. I'm not an athiest or whatever, I'm just a realist. And don't you know they make up half that junk to scare you? I read the news everyday, I don't believe it. They're trying to get you to get scared and kill yourself where they have 5000 less people too worry about killing when they take over. Trust me man, it's all gonna be ok. And as for the world going to end, it's something we brought on ourselves, and if God wanted to end the world, why bother with an asteroid? If he's so powerful, he can do what he wants.

Poor brain-washed child!

A fact never went into partnership with a miracle. Truth scorns the assistance of wonders. A fact will fit every other fact in the universe, and that is how you can tell whether it is or is not a fact. A lie will not fit anything except another lie.

You shouldn't watch TV it rots your brain. I am lutheran, lets start there. All People will not convert to Christianity. What about people who have never heard of Jesus? What will they do? Huh? Are you a sinner if you have never heard of the sin?

This question would definitely have gone down better under religion. It may be an interesting question but that doesn't mean it's of interest.

I have no idea where you found that piece of b.s., but that is what it is. There is no scientific backing for a single word of it. And the notion that religion would have anything to do with it is preposterous.

they've been telling use that in thousands of years, a big ol' meteor will hit us for years. whats more is not every one will turn to Jesus, they'll turn to the main religion in there area; Buddhism in china, Muslim in the middle east etc., etc.

No thanks. I think I'll stick with reading Harry Potter. That Dumbledore character is quite wise.
