You should let your daughter decide whether or not she wants to see her dad. If he is no good believe me, from experience she will realize who the man really is when she gets older. Right now she will just hate you for it because she may not understand. She might think that you are the worst person on earth and until she is old enough to find out for herself and as long as he treats her right when they are together let them spend time together.

The answer is probably a definate yes. Especially if he expresses interest in seeing her. Unless there are some other details like that he is abusive to her or is a drug addict or some extreme situation like that, then the answer is no. But as long as none of these situations exist you should probably allow them to see each other. The father/daughter relationship is a complex one. Girls need some sort of father figure in their lives. I am 28 and my father has been in and out of my life since I was a toddler. I have made a lot of mistakes in my life and have suffered from depression. With some education and self-insight I have come to realize that a lot of my anger and other problems stem from not a having a secure relationship with my father. That is something to think about. Don't keep her away because you and her father have a poor relationship.

Do you have a lawyer that can help decide what is most beneficial to your daughter? How old is your daughter? Once she is old enough she can decide on her own if she wants to see him or not.

Good luck! I hope things can be worked out. I know this is a very difficult situation to be in.

Yes, only if he wants to see her. Don't force that child in his life. He would not appreciate the true meaning of having a daughter. He would only do it just to keep you quite. Remember, your daughter loves him even though he is not being the father he should be, but she loves him in her own way. Just let the relationship happen and let it grow on its own. Be postitive about her dad. Eventually she will find out the real meaning of a dad. Don't worry yourself and beat yourself down about him not doing anything. Because think about. The things she mostly need you are giving that to her. LOVE

It's not about letting her father see her....it's about letting HER see her father....I'm not sure what you mean by "he doesn't do anything for her".....usually that means that he doesn't pay child support, or help you with things that she needs/wants. I'm not really sure about the situation or your relationship with him, but as long as he isn't abusive, then your daughter should spend time with him.

Yeah, cause it's not about you or money and material things ,it's about your child having a relationship with her father ,and that's what counts ,or she will blame you in the future or hate him and neither one of those situtions are good ,so do what your heart tells you.but don't llive to regret it .

Yes you certainly should provided she is safe with him. If you don't you'll be denying an incredibly strong craving of hers. She absolutely needs to know her father and, hopefully, know that he loves and cares about her.

YES. LET THEM SEE EACH OTHER. YOU WILL ONLY HURT YOUR DAUGHTER IN THE END. YEA I UNDERSTAND HE IS A NO GOOD PIECE OF SH*T BUT DO NOT KEEP YOUR DAUGHTER FROM SEEING HER FATHER. WHEN SHE GETS OLDER SHE WILL BE ANGRY WITH YOU FOR IT. ALSO WHEN SHE GETS OLDER, IF HE STILL DOES NOT DO ANYTHING FOR HER, TRUST ME SHE WILL LET HIM KNOW HERSELF.
