Man and his wife were at the doctor for the annual physical. They both told him of their concern about short term memory, doctor said it was normal with aging, not to worry about it and just write important things down.

That evening the wife headed towards the kitchen and asked her husband if he'd like anything. He replied,"Yes, I'd like some ice cream, vanilla, with butterscotch topping." She said "Okay" and started to walk off.

"Aren't you going to write that down?" "No, it's just a few things, I'll remember."

A few minutes later she came back with a plate with eggs and bacon. The man said "I knew you should have written it down!"

She asked him "What did I forget?"

"My toast!"
