I mean, where was it ever written into law that the planet Earth was the only planet allowed to be inhabited by humans? There are a gazillion planets out there and they're just as likely to have civilizations like ours, so why are some people so insistent that life doesn't exist outside our planet?
I'm not a sci-fi freak by any means, but I'm just trying to be logical about this. I mean, isn't it logical that if we have human life on our planet, that other planets out there are just as likely to have life on them?

there is life elsewhere. I'm sure you'll get some loony religious nut saying that god didn't say anything about life anywhere or that if he did then he would've told us etc etc. would be foolish to believe that it's just us here in this vast galaxy. we're not that special nor that great as a species. probably the greatest evidence that life exists elsehwere is that they haven't even bothered to contact us. I'm sure they got that time capsule that NASA sent out a couple decades ago and are probably using it as a ottoman or something.
the people that say that's its not worth thinking about bcuz we'll never know? funny how they say that yet still belileve in god.......
currently, our technology is not advanced enough to even dip a toe into the vast regions of space. there IS life out there, WE must find THEM though. and the bottom line is, we're not ready to yet.

There is NOT intelligent life on other planets, there just isn't. And even if by some chance there was, WE would NEVER know about it, so there's no point in even wondering. You're right, I have no proof to back up my OPINION...don't ask the question if you aren't going to like the answers.

It's not hard to believe that there is life on other planets. What's hard to believe is that they could ever come here. Planets are just way to far apart to travel between. Even at light speed it would take millions of years.

alot of people want to be the best, and they aren't, so if life exists on other planets, then not only are there several billion people on this planet who are better than then but zillions and zillions on other planets as well. so it's easier to just not believe in any other life and remain an ignorant moron.

God never said that He did not create other people on other planets but so far their has been no proof so it stands to reason if we send up things and never see any signs that there aren't.

I ask that same question ALL THE TIME..
Life DOES exist beyond Earth.. It would be ignorant to not believe that in my opinion.
