I'm visiting Spain and would like some advice. Are there any places in between Valencia and Barcelona (on the coast) that are worth seeing?

In Barcelona try "La Poma" in La Rambla. For me is the best choice to eat in the "Touristic" area.
If is your first time in Barcelona I will recommended to stay near the Plaza Cataluña or the Paseo de Gracia where you can find transportation and you can easily walk to the core of the city including the Barrio Gotico. Take the touristic bus in front of El Corte Ingles, the bus go around all the city and stop in the primary spots like La Sagrada Familia, Parque Guel, La Diagonal,
The Olympic City and the Water Front.
Between Barcelona and Valencia you can stop in Tarragona a beautiful city founded by the Romans. In Tarragona you can go to Port Aventura amusement park, the train stop near it.
If you go to Valencia don't miss La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias a modern Acropolis with spectacular architecture, designed by Santiago Calatrava and Felix Candela. The aquarium, the biggest on Europe, and the planetarium will make your day. If you like sail boats go to the port and maybe you can watch an American"s Cup boat. The race will be held there in 2007.
Buen viaje!

I just got back from Spain about a month ago! I would go to Barcelona and visit the Gaudi architecture. It sounds boring, but Parc Guell is incredible, with an open market area, the longest bench in the world, it is just amazing!!

When in Barcelona try Santa Maria, Pla, or Re-Pla - three really good restaurants. Also, visit the Santa Caterina Market and have either breakfast or lunch there. Avoid the tourist restaurants along the Ramla - total waste of time.
