I want only to clear some points:
1. I'm Italian, Italy's and Juventus' fan, not here to be bashed, but 'to share facts and - especially - opinions'. I hate some Q&As, to fight them my choose isn't 'fight fire with fire' nor looking for a fine and serene talking with deaf ears.

2. I'm not here to looking for the first spark which fed this fire. As R035, 'its kinda fun sometimes, as long as it's not too vicious.... but enough already' is mine opinion too. Everyone has its own limits, but some recent Q&A were only bloody and miserable insulting aimed directly against some PERSONS here, and besides I like or dislike those persons posting, limits were broken.
3. True, 'Romanis...', there is not smoke without fire, but rivalry and supporting should stay between their limits. I hate when the team I'm supporting is called 'cheaters', but calling b***h someone else is definitively worst.
4. Drawing a 'good ones or bad ones' poster ranking is meaningless. Blaming a bunch of French sore losers is meaningless (no 1 has ever realized if France had won, here it would filled by ITALIAN sore losers????)

I totally agree with you! I've said this plenty of times, but it's not happening... Everyone has the right to express their own opinion, although some have gone beyond that and went on to insult others simply because others have different opinions.
For some of the annoying questions, though, I think it is best to answer in a civil manner, refraining from any insulting language. Tell the asker that what they are saying is hurtful and should not have been posted.

You called me a fat liar. I just wanted to know what happened between Lippi and Gatusso on the sidelines. Glimpse= a brief, incomplete view. I wrote Gattuso dove got a yellow, true it was a tackle. The commentators said also that he was spared on the second offense which was a dive, I remember that one clear as day.

You will find contrary to what Lady Starlight wrote, that she has consistently used profanity, insulted others etc.
The same goes for her sidekicks, Mimi Zizou and Touzours.
Now the explanation that someone started it first cuts no ice. There is no smoke without fire.
They write in caps, behave very unlady like, yet demand everyone should give them respect.
Now, I have wrote some nasty pieces about Cristiano Ronaldo for example, called him gay etc. Some people have wrote back calling me a pig. I accept it, because I wasn't serious when I wrote it, but some people adore Cristiano and they can't accept, so they call me names. Fair enough. I deserve that. End of story. No need to write, no need for me to curse.
But these people must reply to every so-called insult. If not that then they will flood your inbox with message after message, like Juventina loves to do to mine, after my repeated replies that I don't want to read her messages. Still she will send, so after some time, I will resort to calling her a bitc.. etc, and she wants to report me.
Go ahead I say, you can't keep sending someone messages and then report them after getting insulted.
If you look through every answer/question that these people write, you will find that their negative ratings are among the highest. If that does not say what other users think and they cannot understand that, then even your pointed and reasoned plea (in your question), will go as this answer of mine, on deaf ears.
But why I do I persist in highlighting this, simply: The silent majority will not be held to ransom by a select few, who persist in their boorish behaviour.
Every attempt to expose their insolent behaviour must be made.
Whether it changes them for the better, is irrelevant, but affect them it does (judging by their responses).
This is what must be done, until they either change or stop writing rubbish.

i agree totaly with what you erri,romanis & 5-3 have said.i'd like to point out another fact that i have learned over the years& it is we ppl enjoy play mind games on each other all the time & one of those games is to find & push eachothers "buttons" this is a FACT believe me.the only reason ppl push buttons is to get a reaction from the person he/she is targeting ,plain & simple.there are 2 ways to react,you totally ignore the provocative statement or you react to show you have been upset by them.now it is true that if ignore them they'll probably be back to try again but it is up to you to decide what to do ,i say to you be "cause" & not "effect". you are a free being, " cause" or "effect" which do you choose.

Thank you for posting this up. I have been the target of attacks by people claiming that they are against me because I have said things against the Italian team. But in reality, these morons just insult me and other users because they have nothing better to do and they find it "fun". In my questions, I am always talking about football, not insulting anyone. In my answers, I say what I feel about the Italian team, but I do not say anything against the people of Italy or their country, I have Italian friends, and we realize that we are football fans with extremely differing views but we don't let it interfere with our friendship. But what is going on now, is disgusting. These people have come out of nowhere to attack and insult other users for no reason, and when the attacked users defend themselves, more insults are made against them. If you look at these people who are doing all this, you will see how many "intelligent" questions and answers they have posted up: none. They only came on here to insult others, not to talk about football. And some people, of course, will only judge others without ever knowing the reality. And the fact that certain users' answers get rated down only go to show who has taken over this forum. End of story.

Well, I havent really been pleasant myself but it is getting a bit too far, especially racist comments like calling Zidane a terrorist, I totally think that is a bit too much.
