Hand eye coordination. You have to be born with a skill like that, but it is the most important for Baseball.

I think the most important skill is knowing what is going on in the game. Knowing that you need a base hit and not a homerun or that if you take second on this his can the left fielder gun me down. you be surprised how many pros don't know the fundamentals of the game
