I think the most important skill is knowing what is going on in the game. Knowing that you need a base hit and not a homerun or that if you take second on this his can the left fielder gun me down. you be surprised how many pros don't know the fundamentals of the game

Well it depends wether you are talking players, then I would say the pitcher. But really the whole team is important. If you mean items I would say the actual baseball. Good luck!
