look behind the fridge, they are often there - dont move it though because u could squish him. also check the stove. have some broccoli or other fresh food with u to lure him in case he's there. put a bucket out with books or something leading up to it so he can crawl to the edge. make a trail of food on the books, just a tiny bit, leading up the books and then put broccoli (no water) in the bottom of the bucket he'll fall in and be trapped and waiting for u. a small trash can or anything not too tall with smooth sides works. since u r home u make sure his cage is on the floor open and he may sneak in for food and u can catch him. if u see him but cant grab him u might put a trash can or something like that in front of him so he'll run in it or his ball if u have one. he'll come out at night hungry if u dont find him today. make it quiet & look & listen for him. careful of doors and make sure there's no way outside--like where the washer or sink is. how did he get out? u will want to address that once u find him.
this is a good reason to call him by name when feeding so he associates his name with food & will come when called.
makes sure any holes to outside r closed---like in the washroom or under sinks.

Put the food where the hamster is used to finding it. Assuming you don't have a cat or some other predator, the hamster might be holed up somewhere sleeping. Give it two or three days before you give up. I had one get out and it showed up in the cage a week later to find food. In the meantime check out cushions and chairs before you sit down just in case.

If it got outside it is probably history a lot of predators out there for an animal that has no experience out side. Sorry as for the child they get over lost pets as soon as something new comes along

you want to stay calm. At dinner tell her that you got here across a peice of paper affirming that you had to run away. have you ever men had any fights lately? you want to have a good search for advice from including her. yet be calm, getting indignant is the more severe element to do. talk about her existence, and do not choose her. Rember a hug on the right :) yet you should substantiate she is satisfied at living house and at school. did you realize her friends numbers? attempt ringing her chum and asking if she is O.ok. If the chum extremely cares about her then she could open up.

First do you have a snake or a cat?
We had a hamster and we felt sorry for him because he looked so lonely. Got him a wife and he killed her. they can be pretty mean. When he got out, he killed mice. Art T D 2 Was a killer.
Don't be fooled by that fluffy little exterior those things can protect themselves. Vic

if you do buy another one secretly, make sure you will not see the other one again or she'll be asking many questions and you'll have 2 hamsters, with 2 cages, because remember most hamsters would rather be alone unless they grew up together or were bought together

I think that there isn't a chance you will see him ever again... He's probably been eaten by a cat, or a car maybe ran over him... Or he's lost but hamsters are not dogs, he will not remember where he lives...
My suggestion is to buy a new one...

I think that you probably won't find it. If you don't want to see her upset I suggest running down to your local pet store and buying another one that looks like the one you lost.
She won't notice the difference. And she'll be happy.
That's the important thing.
