I prefer to do both. I have the idea, and because it's usually a crazy one, I have to take care of the details, because no one else has the vision to see the end result.

It depends on the situation. I do come up with the ideas, and if I can trust someone else to take care of some of/all of the details, then great. If not, I do them because it needs to get done.

I am much more of a thinker. I generate ideas and usually let others take care of the details. If need be, I buckle down and do the work myself, but I prefer to envision the next project.

Well, now that I own my own architectural firm, I do the design or suggesting. I have wonderful people who work out the details. When they have any trouble, I'll help with the details too to get them started.

I use to be the details guy though; back in my intern and associate days.
