I work with this woman daily on company accounts for two years.

When I got the job, I was warned that she is “difficult” and that the position is hard to fill because no one wants to work with her.

She snaps at everyone, hangs up on people, slams doors and phones and complains all of the time.

I have to walk on eggshells when I am around her, I never know what might “set her off.”

I don’t know if its menopause, but I think she might have a mental disorder, like bi-polar.

She has really wild mood swings and takes no medication.

She gets annoyed and irritated at everyone and everything.

I knock on her door before I go in so she doesn’t get mad, and she writes me this email about how when I knock on the door it drives her crazy and I need to stop immediately.

I can never predict what will make her mad, I try to watch my every move, but somehow she is always crazy mad about something.

How do I deal with her?

I dealt with this at my current job. It is not your responsibility to tame a social misfit. Management and Human Resources are responsible for reigning in difficult employees or terminating them. Go to HR and go on record that you work environment
is adversely affected by this person. It is legally confidential and is a good way to cover your a** should she try to cause you
problems.

Her file is probably very familiar to them already.

I felt sorry for you. I think that women never have a dick for along time. Psychologically speaking her life is miserable, and she wants all of you have the same. Why nobody file a complaints against her. What is your boss said about her behavior? Somebody needs to stick dick in her mouth she will be change. Excuse me but that is the truth, or she is just simple ignorant..

Maybe get a different job or complain about her. Bi polar people can be impossible and I know its like "okay..im not doing anything wrong if i just say this or be nice.." but yeah she will never change if she dosn't get medication. Or maybe try avoiding her when she is bitching to everyone. Six words, "Get. Yourself. Into. A. Bigger. Office!"

tell her up front that he mood swings and how she treats you is unacceptable!

Most people, it seems, will let her walk all over them be the one with some gonads and tell her its time to change.

With women, especially one in authority, you have to stand up to them, believe it or not, she'll appreciate it and may even change.
