Your question is just a tad bit dumb. If you had flippers and a tail, how would you hold a pencil or type with a keyboard?
However, dolphins are extremely intelligent. There has a been a certain sign language, developed just for communicating with dolphins. By using this specific signing method, dolphins can understand precisely what we're trying to communicate to them.
Although, I have to point out, the dolphins haven't come up with a method of communication that we can understand. So either they are trying to communicate and we just can't understand them, or else they really can't be bothered (or just can't) and that's what gives them the title of the second most intelligent creatures on the planet.

Indeed Willy Bottlenose who currently resides in northern atlantic, is the author of the critically acclaimed novel "Tuna fish who loved me". It is a crime-mistery novel with a very ingenius spot. The novel was published in 1993 by the Penguin Printing House but the critical praise did not turn into commercial success and the book soon went out of print.
----Spoiler Warning-----
The reason for the commercial was mostly due to the lack of interest in part of humans to the struggles of dolphins against being hunted and sold as canned tuna fish.
-------------------------------
After this brief episode, Mr Bottlenose retired from the literary world and started to live a secluded life. This is especially significant as dolphins are very sociable and solitary souls are indeed very very rare. In a recent interview representatives of the Penguin Publishing House reaffirmed their commitment to publish high quality literary works of all authors no matter what their sex, race, religion or taxonomy is, provided that those individuals agree to sign an affidavit condemning the hunting expeditions to Antarctica by any living creatures.

It is a pity that a sentence with the potential to be an intelligent question should turn out to be so dumb.
A group were training dolphins to respond to directions by making a sound, after a period of time they stopped responding,in fact they were responding but they used the opportunity to find out what the human hearing range was.
Thats what I call intelligent.

But they have! They may not be able to type or write but they can dictate by a series of sounds and clicks which they transmit to dolphin translators. The dolphin translators write as ghost writers for the dolphins and call themselves completely unassociated names like J.K. Rowlings, Roger Hargreaves and Dick Francis.

The fact that they haven't is one more sign of their intelligence. I've been working on a novel for going on three years. And have you ever read a best selling novel? Let's give dolphins the credit they deserve!

How on earth would they do that and also why would they want to do that (the 2nd might be answered if u think a bit but anyway...). although they are intelligent they aren't us humans so they might hav different needs.

Of course i'd lov to read a book that's written by a dolphin ... who knows how it'd b??
