pH = - log (7.94 * 10 ^ (-12))
= - log (7.94) - log 10^(-12)
= - 0.8998 + 12
= 11.1
So, its Basic.

If pH is greater than 7, it is Basic
If pH is less than 7, it is Acidic
If pH is 7, it is Neutral

you have [OH-] here, you know that [H+][OH-]=1.0x10^-14
so [H+]= 1.0x10^-14/7.94x10^-12=
pH=-log[1.0x10^-14/7.94x10^-12]=
However judging from the quotient it's acidic..your answer is going to be ....x10^-2, thus the pH being acidic, it's vinegar, which is acetic acid.
