There might be some sense if you think it in a way where if you intentionally restrain yourself from falling for someone or if you keep your doors closed so that no one from outside can get in, then you wont fall in love. It isnt always something that can take you off your feet if you dont have an open mind.

I even looked up all the lyrics to check there wasn't more after to make the last part make sense. But nope. They're just very obvious lyrics! Maybe just filler?
