OK if you still have the box and the instruction manual for your gameboy in side the manual is a phone number to call Nintendo of America's repair section. they'll ask you questions like whats wrong how it happened and if its still under warranty. then they'll either tell you to mail it to them or if you live in a certain area they have places that a certified by Nintendo to repair it for you.

i think since your son got it wet it voids the warranty. also if you have it registered at Nintendo.com it makes the process easier cause then they don't have to ask as many questions.

I'm sure its fixable you probably just need a new battery

Your best bet is to take it to a store like Game Stop or EB. My son cracked the inner screen I had purchased the extended warranty from Toys R Us. That part wasn't covered. And it would have cost me more to repair it then to just buy a new one. Good Luck to you.

WD40, Nail polish remover, alcohol, all of those are an incredible way of eliminating those little gooey spots left in the back of by making use of adhesives. I swear by making use of "Goo-long gone," however. I artwork on lots of computers and you'd be stunned what people... leave in the back of on them. D: in the previous returning them, I oftentimes provide them a as quickly as over with Goo-long gone. Works nicely. :) in simple terms squirt somewhat on a Q-tip and in simple terms dab it over the adhesive. Wait somewhat, and it might come suitable off with somewhat elbow grease and a small rag. good good fortune!

Try to return it or send it to the factory.
