I'm trying to incorporate some CSS into a message and editing the .eml file to add the code, but it doesn't appear to show up in the file.

It would definately depend on which version of outlook you are using. Any that do probably only support inline styles (

), but certainly not linked style sheets, and probably not stylesheets in the head.

What version of OE are you using? If it's 2003, then yes, for the most part, OE supports CSS, though there are a few selectors it won't support, like opacity, filter, border-spacing, caption-side, etc.

When using CSS in email, it's important to add the css inline rather than to attach a separate css file.
