First off you are never too old to go to school. I am 24 and still attending a JC. Life happens and you just cant do it in the time frame you wanted. I have seen people in my school that are in their 60s and 70s trying to get their degree. Trust me when I say that you being 29 and wanting to start college....is great!!

Best of luck to you. You will do great things.

One time I heard somebody say, "If I start college now, I will be 40 before I get my degree." To which somebody else responded, "Guess what? You're going to be 40 with or without that degree." Outstanding point. Too late for what? Is life going to be over, not to mention a career in which being degreed or not can make a difference in earning potential, by the time you are 35?

Go get the blasted degree! You won't regret this, but you may regret NOT doing it.

You are never too old. I'm going back for a second degree now and I too am 29. There are students in my classes in their 50s and 60s. Do it now so you won't regret it when you are older.

I went to college when I was 28 and really enjoyed it. What I found quite amazing was how many "kids" really didn't care about school they just went to get away from home and their parents, and Party. They really missed class alot. I felt sorry for the parents who were spending big bucks to put the kid in school. You are not to old just take advantage of the fact that you are there to better yourself. Good Luck

It's NEVER too late to start an education...kudos to you and good luck! I'm 27, and don't plan to go back to college until next year, so I'll be in the same boat! Good luck!! I'm sure you'll do great!

It's never too late. Some people go back when they are 40 or 50.
Good Luck.

Better late than never. I know people who start later on in their lives, like in the 30's.

I went back to college at 39 and passed my NVQ level 3 and word processing level one, two and three, by the age of 40.

I work in an office and have just completed my ECDL, that's short for European Computer Driving Licence. at 50? your never to old to learn new skills.
